Empress You More’s Luxury Perfume oils are a great alternative to traditional perfume sprays. Because they are highly concentrated and lack the "burst" of evaporating alcohol. Most Eau De Parfum bottles only have 20% of perfume oil and topped off with alcohol. Our bottles contain 100% Perfume Oil which lasts longer throughout the day.

Here is the best way to apply for maximum impact:

1. Preparation

For the best results, apply your perfume oil after a shower. Warm skin with open pores absorbs the oil more effectively. Moisturize first: Applying an unscented lotion creates a "base" for the oil to cling to, extending its wear time.

2. The Application (Pulse Points)

Since perfume oils are triggered by body heat, you should focus on your pulse points. These are areas where blood vessels are closest to the skin, radiating warmth.

* Wrists: The classic spot.

* Neck and Throat: Apply to the sides of the neck or the base of the throat.

* Behind the Ears: A subtle spot that releases scent as you move your head.

* Inside Elbows and Behind Knees: Excellent for a "trail" effect as you walk.

3. The "Golden Rule": Don't Rub

A common mistake is rubbing your wrists together after application. Rubbing creates friction that heats up the skin too quickly. This can "bruise" the scent, breaking down the delicate top notes and altering how the fragrance evolves. Instead, dabs or light strokes are all you need.

4. Layering and Storage

Less is More: Oils are potent. Start with a small amount; you can always add more, but it’s hard to take off once it's on.

* Hair Application: You can run a tiny bit of oil through the ends of your hair. Since hair is porous, it holds scent incredibly well.

* Keep it Cool: To preserve the shelf life of the perfume oils, store your bottles in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and humidity (like a bedroom drawer rather than a bathroom counter).
